Njaba River
Njaba River (also Njaba), in the Niger Delta Basin is a major tributary of Oguta Lake in Nigeria's South East Imo State. With 4.5m mean depth, the river has a shoreline length of 26.5 km and an average specific discharge of about 1700 m3/hour. ==Location== Njaba is located within Latitudes 5°44' and 5°47' North and Longitudes 6°49' and 7°03' East in Nigeria's Southeast. The river flows in an almost east-western direction, taking off from Amucha and Ekwe passing through several towns including Awo-Omamma before empting into Oguta Lake. Notable towns and settlements in Njaba area include Ogbaku, Izombe, Mgbidi, Oguta, Uba-Agwa, Egwe, Umunoha, Orsu-Obodo, Ezzi-Orsu, Awo-Omamma, Umuaka, Ekwe, Okwudor and Eziama.
